This weeks question is:

"What book(s) have you read that you’re secretly ashamed to admit?"

I don't really think that there is a single book I have read that I would be ashamed of admitting to. I mean my preferences include anything that is BDSM or Erotica related and those are usually the ones that people cringe over.

*gasp* "Oh my god she reads dirty perverted smut?! She must be a sexual deviant of the worst kind! keep your husbands and your kids away from her."

Why yes, YES I am!

Well not really, but I don't have a problem with bending the boundaries or admitting that I am a bit of a kinky freak. lol  I feel that if you are ashamed of something you are doing, than you shouldn't be doing it. Am I right? ;)P

So while I am not ashamed of any book I have read, I will admit that I am saddened by myself for swooning over certain books in the past. I'm sure most of you can guess what those books are, too.

I won't go so far as to say that Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey are necessarily horrible books. They weren't exactly the best, and the amount of time I wasted over obsessing about them is just pathetic, but for a short time they kept me busy. So now that I have discovered that there is a whole new world of better literature out there, I can deem these books the rulers of the shame shelf. Sorry Stephenie Meyer and E.L. James, no offense intended. lol

How about you? What books are you ashamed of admitting to?

    1. That made me chuckle. :)No shame in teen angst books. I indulge quite often in them, and even though you are a 40 year old man, we won't discriminate. lol
